Aspiring firefighters can see if they've got what it takes next month.
The Island Fire Service is holding 'come and try it' sessions on Wednesday, September 9 and Tuesday, September 29.
They're designed for anyone considering applying to get a glimpse into what professionals do on a daily basis.
Those who attend can take part in a series of tests which are part of the entry process including a bleep test, hose reeling excercise and breathing apparatus tests.
The sessions take place between 6.15pm and 8pm each evening.
