A Douglas man who was found lying on his back in an alleyway has been fined £150.
58-year-old Edward Joseph Watkins, of Georges Terrace, was found in the area by paramedics at 4.50pm on February 17th.
They found he'd urinated on himself and had an open fracture to his right thumb - however he was refusing treatment.
Police were called and he was arrested - at Douglas Courthouse last week Watkins pleaded guilty to being drunk and incapable.
At Douglas Courthouse last week Watkins told the court he'd been watching TV and drinking vodka adding "I didn't realise how much I'd had until I went out into the fresh air".
He said he didn't remember most of the incident apologising and saying "I'm sorry to be a nuisance".
Magistrates fined him £150 and ordered him to pay court costs of £50 - they also imposed a six month licensing ban.
