The Steam Packet Company says today's Ben my Chree sailing to Heysham will set off half an hour early because of bad weather.
Yesterday, the company said gale force winds forecast overnight could affect today's crossings.
This morning's Heysham voyage will now set off at 8.15am, half an hour earlier than usual.
The Steam Packet says this afternoon's return trip - which is due to leave Lancashire at 2.15pm - is unaffected.
