Earl the Laxey cat loses collar in feline feud

Laxey's most famous cat is recovering well after getting into a scrap at the weekend.

Earl the Laxey cat's owner Sharna Keig took to Facebook after the well-known moggy, who regularly greets visitors to the Laxey Wheel, came home with scratches yesterday.

She says he's suffered only a bruised ego as well as minor cuts - but has lost his collar.

On his Facebook page, she's asking people in the village to keep their eyes peeled for his distinctive yellow collar with baby blue bow tie, which was lost during his ruckus.
