An MP from the Democratic Unionist Party, which did a deal to prop up the minority Conservative government, will be a guest of honour on Tynwald Day.
32 year old Gavin Robinson is MP for East Belfast and former Lord Mayor - he'll be one of 14 guests at the ceremony in St Johns next week, and the only Westminster MP to attend.
His party signed a deal with Theresa May's government after the recent UK general election to give the Conservatives a majority in the House of Commons.
In return, Mrs May has promised £1 billion of public spending in Northern Ireland.
The DUP has courted controversy in the past, campaigning against legalising homosexuality in Northern Ireland and receiving an endorsement from terrorist groups during the 2017 election.
