Douglas lifeboat was called into action on Saturday to aid a local vessel that had broken down.
It launched just after 2pm to assist the boat which was carrying two crew and seven other passengers on board.
It had broken down just off Port Soderick.
The boat was safely towed back into Douglas and to its regular mooring in the harbour.
