Restrictions on dog walking at Douglas beach are coming back into force from next week.
Douglas Borough Council says from next Monday (June 22) people won't be allowed to walk their canines on the stretch between the steps opposite Switzerland Road and Victoria Pier between 10am and 7pm each day.
Officials say it's in line with byelaws which were temporarily relaxed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It comes after Port Erin commissioners announced earlier this week that similar restrictions will be put in place on the beach in the South from July 1.
