An application has been made to change the use of Unit 1 at Hills Meadow Industrial Estate from an industrial unit to a centre for canines.
The proposals are for a service running from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on weekends - able to house up to 30 pooches.
The plans are now subject to approval.
