A Manx dog rescue group has issued a warning about shots being fired in the east of the Island.
Noddle's Canine Rescue Isle of Man says it believes crop scarers and gunshots are being used around Laxey Glen and Axnfell Plantation to scare away birds.
The group said one dog was frightened by the noise and went missing overnight, but was thankfully found safe at around 7:30am this morning.
The volunteer rescue team, which uses drones to help search for missing dogs, is asking walkers to be mindful if visiting the area with their pets.
