Extra funding may be available for the Department of Economic Development - despite it facing a budget cut.
The department's budget has been reduced from £6.4 million to £5.5 million for the next year.
That means a 0.8 per cent decrease in net expenditure this year.
The DED is subject to the lowest outlay of all the government departments - but can apply for funds like Treasury's Marketing Initiative Fund.
Minister John Shimmin says the Chief Minister has alluded to extra funds being available:
LegCo to face questions in this morning's sitting
Passport prices to rise
House of Keys to sit for final time before election
Island cyclist to ride in Tour De France
Police appeal over promenade street brawl
Well-known farm in the west up for sale
