A gift shop tied to the Island' economic Development Minister has scrubbed all mentions of the word "TT" from its site after a local brewery fell foul of a government trademark.
This week, the Department of Economic Development threatened to sue Bushy's over using the initials on its merchandise.
But TT inspirations, which lists Laurence Skelly as a director, was selling TT gifts until the row broke - when it replaced the initials with "road races".
It's not yet known how many other Island businesses may be told to stop using the initials because the government has signed a contract with a rights-holder.
