Inflation on the Island stood at 5.2% in December.
The Consumer Prices Index says this is a decrease of 0.5% on the previous month.
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco had the biggest increase, rising by 12.7% compare to a year ago.
The second biggest increase is Restaurant and hotels, having risen by 11.3% in the last 12 months.
