A Douglas councillor has given a street cat in the Phillipines a happy Christmas after spotting it was ill.
Douglas South member Frank Schuengel was working in Manila when he spotted a group of cats living in a car park and noticed one was sick.
He took her to a vet who found a bacterial infection and decided to keep her in for treatment - she'll be blind in one eye.
Frank wished her Merry Christmas and revealed he's called her Star!
