A conference will explore how the Island can 'shake off its dependence on fossil fuels.'
It's being led by Dr Dave Quirk, Research Director of the Energy and Sustainability Centre, ahead of the 'Low-Carbon Island Economy' conference later this month.
Dr Quirk said that the Island's commitment to net zero emissions is also relevant to current worries about gas supplies, and our natural resources mean there is potentially huge benefit to Manx residents.
The event is taking place on October 27 at the Comis Hotel.
