Peel commissioners say they'll appeal against a 92-home estate given permission by planners earlier this week.
The Dandara development off Glenfaba Road was given the green light by the planning committee on Monday.
At a meeting last night, Peel's local authority voted to lodge an appeal against the decision.
Both Peel and German commissioners had objected to the second phase of work on the estate.
