Garff Commissioners are getting involved in a project aimed at protecting forests for future generations.
They've teamed up alongside Laxey and Dhoon schools as part of the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy.
The move comes following a suggestion from a resident of Ard Reayrt.
The initiative also aims to bring all member countries of the commonwealth together to achieve forest conservation.
