Coastguards in the west of the Island were called out yesterday to help deal with a pollution incident.
Peel's volunteer team was called out at around 8.15pm after reports of oil in the harbour drifting toward the footbridge.
They deployed absorbent booms to contain the spill.
Coastguards say you should always call them if you spot any sort of pollution in the Island's rivers or around its coast.
