Class A drug user to be sentenced in February

A 42-year-old woman who admitted possessing heroin has had her sentence adjourned until February.

Roma Elaine Kelly of Willaston in Douglas was detained outside her home by police on December 18 where she was caught with two packages of the class-A drug in her hand.

Kelly said she had just bought the drugs for £50 and was a regular heroin user.

Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes granted bail until February 3, so reports can be prepared.
