Foster carers on the Isle of Man are being let down and "ill-treated" by government.
That's the claim North Douglas MHK John Houghton made in the House of Keys this week - he wanted to know if improvements will be made:
He says he thinks the Department of Health and Social Care - which outsources the service - should conduct an anonymous survey amongst carers to garner feedback.
Minister Howard Quayle says efforts are underway to improve the service and support available but admits it's time for his department to "up the game":
