Vulnerable people on the Isle of Man have been left 'hurt' by disability assessors who are reviewing their incapacity benefits.
That's the view of independent abuse advisor Marcia Brabbs - this week she appeared before a Tynwald committee which is investigating the issue:
Dependability Limited was appointed by Treasury in 2014 to carry out personal capability assessments - since then the company and its processes have been heavily criticised.
Marcia, who was sharing her experiences of helping people go through the assessment, says the whole process should have been "handled better":
The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee is due to report back to Tynwald in June.
