Children's approach to sexuality putting them at risk says police

Children on the Isle of Man are at risk of being sexually exploited because their approach to sexuality is changing.

That's according to police on the Island - the Chief Constable has described it as an "important societal issue" and one that policymakers must now consider. 
 
In the last 12 months the Public Protection Unit has seen a 110 per cent increase in its workload - many of the cases being tackled involve child sexual exploitation: 
 
 
A Safeguarding Children's Board has carried out work to identify the scale and scope of the problem and efforts are now underway to train all officers to be aware of the signs of it.
