The Chief Minister says he went to London earlier this year because of the paradise papers and the impact it had on the Isle of Man.
In Tynwald yesterday Howard Quayle was asked by Onchan MHK Julie Edge if he'd make a statement on his recent trip to the UK with the treasury minister.
In response, he said his visit focused mainly on recent allegations made against the Island, and tax matters.
Mr Quayle also said discussions were had about the UK leaving the EU.
