Changes to Parish Walk confirmed

Changes to one the Island's biggest sporting events have been announced.

Manx Telecom has confirmed a new video service, mobile phone app and an improved clock and matrix display at the finish line will be in place for the 2019 Manx Telecom Parish Walk.

The changes were announced at the official launch of the event, which took place at MT's headquarters earlier toady.

Now, organisers want to provide video clips of each person who finishes the 85-mile route, as they cross the finishing line on Douglas prom.

Online results for them will then be linked to video content on Youtube.

It's hoped it'll make it easier for families, friend and supporters to follow the race on their mobile.
