Mark Cavendish has broken a rib after a crash at a race in Europe at the weekend.
The Manx cyclist was competing in the Milan-San Remo race on Saturday when he hit a bollard he was trying to negotiate.
An update from his team says the 32 year old escaped major injury but has fractured a rib and may have broken his ankle.
It's the Manx Missile's third major spill of this season.
