A new planning application for a Viking gate at Peel Cathedral has dropped proposals for new bus shelters outside.
The vicar and wardens of St Germans have applied for permission to build a new lychgate onto Derby Road.
In their application, they say they've amended the plans after the Peel Regeneration Scheme scrapped proposals to give the area a facelift.
As well as a Viking boat roof, the entrance would use refurbished wrought iron gates which were previously outside the Nunnery in Douglas.
Extra promenade bus facilities would cost estimated £735k
