A newly refurbished care home in Ballasalla is welcoming its first new resident this week.
Silverdale Care Home - previously Abbotswood Nursing home underwent a £1.2 million refurbishment, which was completed last month.
The home is now accepting new admissions over the next few months and is expecting to have 63 new residents by Easter 2022.
Silverdale Care Ltd. says it ensures that strict Covid-19 measures will be in place for staff and visitors.
