A parent-led campaign will launch later this month to explore alternative ways of treating type 1 diabetes.
Monitor4Kids - backed by Manx Diabetic Group - are looking to raise funds for a pain-free alternative to testing blood from a cut in the finger.
The campaigns leader, Jo Wilkinson, says the campaign hopes to help parents meet the cost of using the monitors.
Their launch will be at Cycle 360 in the IOM Business Park at 7pm on Thursday, July 19.
