A group of businesses led by a former minister will meet tonight to discuss the recent minimum wage rise.
The Local Economy Forum was set up by former MHK Chris Robertshaw and will hold its first gathering in Douglas tonight.
The group says it hopes to find alternative policies for government after the last rise for the Island's lowest-paid workers.
The meeting starts at 6.30pm tonight (Monday, November 10) at the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino on Central Promenade in Douglas.
