The inquest into the death of a man who was killed while at work will open today.
Charles Gareth Sowden died in an incident in Kirk Michael on May 1st.
The 55-year-old from Douglas died as a result of the injuries he received while working on a site on Balleira Road.
An investigation is being led by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
Coroner John Needham will open the inquest at 9.15am.
