The Island’s rich crop of film-makers are being encouraged to submit their material to as many international festivals as possible.
Last week's Isle of Man Film Festival saw a range of short films, made by local talent,shown across the Island.
Festival director Dave Armstrong says the screenings have served to raise the profile of these projects to a much wider audience.
He says he hopes the festival can act as a springboard for bigger things:
