The Bishop of Sodor and Mann, Robert Paterson, is recovering after having a heart attack on Monday.
Bishop Paterson had been in Oxford when he fell ill, he has since had three stents fitted and has now been discharged from hospital.
It marks a dramatic week for him after an online petition was created, calling for his resignation, citing bullying and flawed leadership.
Taking to his Twitter page he's thanked his friends for their love and support this week and confirmed he is out of hospital and currently feeling well.
