Efforts are underway to make the Isle of Man a dementia friendly nation:
The Alzheimer's Society has marked Dementia Awareness Week this week - events included opening a new till at Tesco which gives people with a memory problem more time.
So far the charity has worked with more than 1500 people on the Island - from a range of sectors - to help them better understand the condition.
