The Island's Treasury Minister says changes to the way benefits are paid will affect only a tiny minority of pensioners.
Dr Alex Allinson faced questions in the House of Keys this week about moves to scrap cash payments in Post Offices via the MiCard system.
MHKs said they were worried government was trying to force pensioners to open bank accounts and many were worried about their pension payments.
But Dr Allinson says the majority are already paid directly into their accounts:
