A Port St Mary man will be sentenced next month after being caught with more than £600 worth of heroin.
Police raided 36 year old Loic Joseph Bourdiec's flat, on Lewthwaites Way, just before 5pm on Tuesday.
A search of the property found numerous wraps of the Class A drug, worth £660, as well as a small amount of cannabis.
At Douglas Courthouse this week, Bourdiec admitted unlawfully possessing both substances.
The court heard he'd told police he was a regular heroin user, who injects the drug daily.
Social Enquiry Reports have been requested before he's sentenced on August 24 - he's been bailed until that date.
