Ratepayers in Arbory are facing a rise in their rates - but by less than the rate of inflation.
Commissioners voted to increase the local authority's rates by 2.6 per cent, from 117p to 120p in the pound.
They say rubbish disposal has risen by almost five per cent, while highways maintenance has risen by 4.1 per cent.
And the board points out inflation in December stood at 4.1 per cent.
