Appeal Goes Out for Contractor For Sewerage Replacement Scheme
The Department of Transport has put out an appeal has gone out for a contractor to take on the major task of replacing the sewers under Douglas Harbour.
The scheme will involve the design and construction of two replacement sewers connecting the South Quay and Douglas Head.
The decision to totally replace them came about after the operation to clean and rehabilitate the existing lines was unsuccessful.
The public are asked to get their submissions in by 23rd January of who they think the best contractor for the job would be.
