Engine Stolen From Boat in Derby Haven Bay
Castletown Police are investigating a theft from a boat moored in Derby Haven bay.
It happened sometime between 2.30pm on Tuesday and 12.30pm on Wednesday.
The person responsible would had to have used tools to remove the rear engine from the 18ft boat.
It could only be used as a direct replacement for an identical boat as the drive shaft and gearbox were left in the boat.
If anyone has any information they’re urged to contact Castletown Police Station.
