12 'post people' on the Island have been attacked and physically injured by dogs in the last year.
That's according to the Isle of Man Post Office - it says there have also been many more 'near misses' and stand offs with canines:
Postmen and women are now being given advice on how to keep themselves safe through an internal awareness campaign.
