Solar-powered charging bays for electric cars at Ronaldsway Airport will cost around £415,000.
So says Manx Utilities chair John Wannenburgh, who faced a Tynwald question for written response from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
Mr Wannenburgh says the facility would be built on hire car spaces at the airport for use by staff, commuters and the public.
But he added the project is still in its early stages and so he could only give an estimated total cost.
