Workers from the Department of Infrastructure leapt into action to rescue some ducklings today.
Parish Wardens were called after the public found two ducklings stuck under a grid on the Old Castletown Road in Douglas.
They were successfully freed, and reunited with their eight siblings and mother in the River Glass earlier this afternoon, Tuesday, May 5.
The DOI says it's one of the more unusual jobs carried out by the wardens, who provide the first response for Highway Services.
