The nomination deadline for the IOM general election has passed and the final line up of candidates is now clear:
There are 64 candidates in total, that's 9 more than 2006 - there's a last minute addition in the shape of David Jones, who is standing as a Liberal Vannin candidate in Rushen and one withdrawal in West Douglas, with taxi driver Martin Moore dropping out, leaving Geoff Corkish, John Shimmin, John Skinner and Chris Thomas in the race.
