60 year seven pupils from all six of the Island's secondary schools have taken part in an all-island Maths Challenge.
The event at King William's College saw teams tackle a series of maths and engineering challenges.
The competition concluded with teams building the tallest free-standing tower using only paper and Sellotape.
Head of maths at KWC Anouk de Vos said the subject is about far more than finding the correct answer, it develops communication, resilience and teamwork.
