The engineering and construction industries on the Island could get a boost thanks to plans for new and improved facilities.
The Department of Education and Children will seek Tynwald approval to create new training areas for college students.
Plans include creating a facility for engineering and motor-vehicle engineering at the old treatment works and using the freed up space at the college for a bigger construction crafts area.
