Young people will have to 're-assess' retirement plans

Pay more, for longer, for less - that's what young people on the Isle of Man are facing when it comes to paying for their pensions.

Last week government announced its plans to reform pensions to ensure they become 'fair and sustainable'.

It's been speculated the younger generations won't see their pay-outs following years of economic down turn and an aging population.

Policy and Reform Minister John Shimmin says plans to fix the pensions scheme will work but young people may have to re-assess their retirement plans:
