A local authority in the west of the Island has unveiled its mission statement after months of consideration.
Patrick's board had been asked to compile the document, which sets out its values and objectives, by member Leo Cussons.
The statement says "We serve our rural community by keeping our roads, verges and pavements safe and well maintained, reducing waste costs while increasing recycling, and caring for the green and community spaces that make our parish a place people are proud to call home".
It's one of the few local authorities to have a mission statement - Ramsey's is simply "Making Ramsey a better place to live, work and enjoy" while Port St Mary has one it reviews every year.
