Laxey promenade is due to stay closed for much of today for cleanup work after last night's storm.
The route closed yesterday evening as gales battered the Island and waves blasted exposed roads.
The Department Of Infrastructure says the Promenade and Tent Road suffered damage during the storms.
As a result, both are due to remain closed until 4.30pm while workers clear up.
