The Department of Infrastructure says its staff will be on hand to close if needed roads this morning.
On social media, it says it'll monitor conditions around high tide at Ramsey, Castletown and Douglas Promenades as well as Shore Road in Peel, and Shore Road in Rushen.
It says harbour defences in Ramsey and Castletown will remain in place, with more weather warnings about high today at around 11.30am.
And it says if conditions deteriorate, its staff will shut routes until the weather passes.
