The Met Office has issued a weather warning that comes into force this morning.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping.
Forecasters say Shore Road, Castletown Promenade and Douglas Promenade will be worst affected.
The warning runs from 9am today until 1.30am Sunday.
