Work permit rules for construction workers will be relaxed to try and alleviate problems in the sector.
That's the message from the Economic Development Minister who says the industry is "very clearly struggling" to fill posts with local workers.
Laurence Skelly told Tynwald last week that changes are on the way and will likely mirror a similar scheme for hospitality workers which was introduced this year.
He says Isle of Man workers will still have priority but something has to be done:
