Woman remanded over meth charge

A London woman accused of bringing the Breaking Bad drug methamphetamine to the Island has been remanded in custody.

Zuhra Abukar of Freegrove Road in Islington appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live videolink from prison.

The 33 year old denies producing the class A drug on April 20, damaging a shower and toilet in Laxey on May 3 and damaging an Audi car between April 25 and May 4.

There was no bail application and she was remanded in custody until the start of her trial on July 26.
